We are a family oriented club in northern Hale County. We have 2200 acres. This land consists of mature hardwoods, mature and young pines, and fresh and years old cutover. We have two boat landings near lock 8. One is on a back water lake (Storer's Lake) and the other is in Martin Slough above lock 8. We also have a 4 acre stocked bass pond with a pier and small boat ramp.
We organized our club in 2002. We have been on a management program from the start. We shoot 8 points with a 12" spread. The turkey hunting is also excellent.
Our properties are split into two areas. We have 1000 acres in the Stewart area. And we have 1166 acres down 69 south toward Greensboro. These are around 15 miles apart. Basically, we offer two clubs for the price of one. There is a large camp house at the south property with room for overnight stays and there are places to park a camper at the Stewart area.
